About The Position

FSG is hiring a Commercial Service Electrician (also described as an Electrical Service Technician) for its Cincinnati, Ohio team. The role involves traveling to commercial customer locations to diagnose electrical issues, make repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and help customers keep their facilities operating safely and efficiently. It offers varied service work rather than assignment to the same construction project each day. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

At least 4 years of commercial electrical experience.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops when needed.

Nice To Haves

Apprenticeship training preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems.
Repair electrical equipment, lighting, controls, panels, and power distribution systems.
Install new electrical equipment and complete service upgrades.
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Communicate professionally with customers and provide outstanding service.
Complete service documentation and work orders accurately.
Follow NEC requirements and company safety standards.
