About The Position

FSG is seeking a Commercial Service Electrician to join its Cincinnati, Ohio team. The role involves traveling to commercial customer locations to diagnose electrical issues, make repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and help customers keep their facilities operating safely and efficiently. It offers varied service work rather than assignment to the same construction project every day, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Apprenticeship training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems.
• Repair electrical equipment, lighting, controls, panels, and power distribution systems.
• Install new electrical equipment and complete service upgrades.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Communicate professionally with customers while providing outstanding service.
• Complete service documentation and work orders accurately.
• Follow NEC requirements and company safety standards.
