Commercial Service Coordinator – Security, Access, CCTV & Fire Systems
About The Position
Atronic Alarms, a company with over 40 years of experience protecting commercial businesses in the Kansas City area, is seeking an organized and customer-focused Commercial Service Coordinator. This role serves as the central point of contact, connecting clients, technicians, and vendors to ensure smooth operations for security, access, CCTV, and fire systems. The coordinator will manage client communications, schedule various service-related activities, and ensure efficient coordination between internal teams and external partners. A typical day involves reviewing schedules, addressing service tickets, troubleshooting client issues, booking new jobs, and coordinating field technicians and necessary parts to prevent any operational gaps.
Requirements
- 3+ years of coordinating, customer service, or dispatching experience.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Clear, professional communication, written and verbal.
- Comfort learning new software/technology on the job.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to learn quickly and stay current with new security technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot both technical and administrative inquiries.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a field service, installation, or trades-adjacent industry.
- Experience in service coordination, dispatching, or customer service.
- Familiarity with security, fire, or low-voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients via phone, email, and text.
- Schedule installations, service calls, and routine system inspections.
- Coordinate with vendors and technicians to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide basic technical support, such as toggling chimes, silencing keypads, and pulling system reports.
- Monitor system health alerts and proactively address potential issues.
- Review the day's schedule, resolve conflicts, and follow up on service tickets.
- Assist clients with troubleshooting and book new service jobs.
- Coordinate with field technicians to ensure proper allocation of personnel and parts.
