About The Position

The Commercial Service Advisor inspects commercial vehicles to determine necessary repairs. The role includes evaluating vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, explaining and coordinating the repair process with customers and insurance companies, and overseeing the vehicle through repair completion and delivery. The advisor also performs final quality-control inspections and follows company safety standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

Prior commercial estimating experience.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license.
Proficient with a computer and software.
Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
Must be able to regularly lift 10 pounds.
Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level.

Nice To Haves

Experience preparing estimates in Mitchell is preferred.
Experience preparing estimates in CCC One.

Responsibilities

Examine vehicle damage to determine the extent of body, structural, mechanical, or interior damage.
Prepare estimates to repair vehicles.
Explain the repair process to customers.
Communicate with customers’ insurance companies about damage and obtain repair authorization.
Complete vehicle check-in with the customer.
Explain and communicate the repair process, estimated repair time, and updates to the customer.
Handle the total-loss process.
Perform final quality-control inspections.
Deliver the vehicle to the customer upon completion of repair work.
Comply with TCC’s safety standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
