About The Position

The COMMERCIAL SALES SPECIALIST works under the direction of the Commercial Sales Manager and is responsible for growing the Commercial Truck tire sales for K&M Tire in a designated region. This role requires extensive knowledge of the product and customers.

Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, and calculator.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years of sales experience in the Commercial Tire Market.

Nice To Haves

Must be knowledgeable of products and programs K&M has to offer with Truck tires.

Responsibilities

Increase Truck tire sales to produce maximum GP.
Work with and provide training and assistance to our dealers.
Assistance with tire warranties and adjustments.
Maintain current customer’s sales and developing new business.
Keep informed of current training to ensure customers receive the best sales/service possible.
Prospecting to new accounts.
Maintain current customers and help secure new commercial customers for our dealers.
Assist in getting slow moving Truck tire inventory sold.
Call on end users and perform fleet inspections.
Attend Truck shows.
Performs related work as required in a team atmosphere.
Present a clean, neat, professional appearance.
