About The Position

The Commercial Sales Specialist is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales while gaining hands-on experience in quoting, account support, and commercial opportunity development. In this role, you will work directly with Residential Inside Sales Representatives, Territory Managers, and cross-functional partners to help move opportunities forward, strengthen dealer relationships, and contribute to commercial sales growth. This individual contributor role is ideal for a motivated professional who wants to develop core sales skills, own revenue-supporting work, and learn how commercial opportunities are qualified, quoted, and advanced. You will be responsible for helping grow commercial sales through qualified residential dealers, achieving goals tied to assigned accounts and inbound requests, and supporting sales leadership's strategies. Along the way, you will gain valuable exposure to inside sales, dealer engagement, market development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in sales support, quoting, inside sales, customer-facing account support, or a related role; HVAC or similar industry experience is helpful but not required.
  • Experience with quoting, proposals, or pricing support is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC products and solutions is a plus, but candidates with strong sales aptitude and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools preferred.
  • Experience with Lennox systems (C4C, Qlik, SAP, FPX, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Understanding of sales fundamentals, including relationship-building, product positioning, opportunity management, and customer engagement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to work across teams and with external partners.
  • A proactive mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and support smart sales decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify, quote, and help close commercial opportunities generated through the Residential Division.
  • Manage inbound commercial requests from qualified residential dealers and turn them into revenue opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to grow commercial sales within the existing residential dealer network.
  • Participate in sales calls and collaborate with Residential ISRs and Territory Managers to support live commercial opportunities.
  • Partner with product specialists to identify expansion opportunities and strengthen quote competitiveness.
  • Analyze dealer activity and commercial spend trends to identify high-potential accounts for future growth.
  • Coordinate closely with Territory Managers to create a seamless experience for commercial opportunities originating from the Residential Division.
  • Share market insights and dealer feedback with sales leadership to help shape strategy and improve the customer experience.
