About The Position

Bug Zero is hiring an experienced Commercial Sales Representative to join our Springfield team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated salesperson to take ownership of their territory with significant room to grow. You'll work with local businesses to identify pest risks, recommend solutions, and build long-term customer relationships. Bug Zero will provide the pest management industry training, while the representative brings the sales skills.

Requirements

Previous successful sales experience, preferably in a service industry
Proven prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
Comfortable generating your own new business
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Friendly, professional, and confident
Organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Strong work ethic and integrity
Stable work history
Valid Missouri driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening

Responsibilities

Prospect for new commercial customers through cold calling, referrals, networking, and relationship building
Meet with business owners, managers, and other decision-makers
Conduct on-site inspections to identify pest risks and customer needs
Develop and present customized pest management solutions
Manage the full sales process from prospecting to closing
Build long-term customer and referral relationships
Represent Bug Zero professionally in the local business community
