About The Position

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., Inc. is a respected leader in the commercial roofing industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality roofing solutions across the nation. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Commercial Roofing Superintendent to lead roofing crews and oversee daily job site operations. The Commercial Roofing Superintendent will be responsible for managing crew activities, ensuring adherence to safety practices, coordinating project timelines, and maintaining quality control. This is a key leadership position that requires strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, excellent communication, and operational planning skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including: TPO, PVC, EPDM (Single-ply), Built-Up Roofing (BUR), Roof Coating Systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial roofing projects from start to finish
  • Supervise multiple crews and subcontractors across various job sites
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and roofing safety practices, including fall protection
  • Coordinate daily job site activities, material deliveries, and equipment needs
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and crew performance
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and suppliers
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure quality workmanship
  • Operate or supervise the use of heavy equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate job records and reporting
