This is for a Superintendent who takes ownership of the job and leads from the front. What You'll Do As a Commercial Roofing Superintendent, you will lead day-to-day field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Experience using project management software such as Buildertrend
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Background working with commercial project teams and customer superintendents

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily roofing construction activities across multiple commercial projects
  • Manage and coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Ensure installations meet specifications across systems including standing seam metal, BUR, single-ply, mod-bit, recover, and tear-off
  • Monitor project progress and communicate scope changes to Project Managers
  • Enforce OSHA standards and lead jobsite safety meetings, inspections, and audits
  • Manage jobsite logistics including materials, equipment, deliveries, and site organization
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact between customers, project managers, and crews
  • Provide daily project updates using Buildertrend or similar software
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure work meets company and manufacturer standards
  • Train and mentor crews to improve performance, safety, and workmanship
