Our projects range in scope from large-scale new construction to complete tear-offs, re-roofing and renovations of existing building exteriors, and on-going roof maintenance, inspection, and repairs of all major commercial roof systems.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation, with a strong track record of working with clients. Any equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance, manufacturers requirements for warranty and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to provide precise and competitive estimates.
- 5 years experience Proficient with data base estimating digitizer computerize estimating software (Estimating Edge "The Edge", Software experience is a Plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Power point, Word
- Must be a motivated self-starter with a professional appearance.
- Ability to provide clear instructions and effectively explain problems or situations.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Must be oriented towards teamwork.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Estimating Edge "The Edge", Software experience is a Plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, site visits and overhead costs.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all commercial roofing systems (e.g., built-up, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC) and manufacturers to provide well-rounded solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with national clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Ensure all estimates align with industry standards and best practices, maintaining high-quality and accuracy in every proposal.
- Adhere to and promote safety standards and regulations, ensuring that all aspects of the project estimates reflect a commitment to safe work practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and advancements in roofing systems to provide competitive and up-to-date estimates.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional growth opportunities to stay ahead in the industry and contribute innovative solutions to the team.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that all project specifications and requirements are met.
- Other duties as assigned.
