About The Position

This position will require passing a federal background check. Roofers are responsible for being an effective member of a roofing crew to complete daily production goals. The role involves working with a crew to complete all aspects of assigned jobs, including tear-off, repairs, installations, and other tasks. It also includes assisting with job site cleanup, participating in mandatory trainings, and performing work that meets the company standard for quality, watertight, productive, and safe work. Specific tasks include completing quality detailed work such as heat welds and pipe boots. Experienced roofers will also mentor less-experienced crew members on intermediate commercial roofing skills.

• Maintain required tools and personal protective equipment needed to perform the job.
• Ability to understand and communicate in either English or Spanish.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, agility test, and drug screen.
• Ability to inspect tools and equipment for proper use.

Responsibilities

• Work with crew to complete all aspects of assigned job including tear-off, repairs, installations, and other tasks assigned.
• Assist with job site cleanup such as trash and debris control.
• Participate in trainings including on the job training and companywide mandatory trainings.
• Perform work that meets the company standard of having quality, watertight, productive, and safe work.
• Completes quality detailed work including heat welds, pipe boots, etc.
• Mentor less-experienced crew members on intermediate commercial roofing skills.
