About The Position

Mr. C Refrigeration is seeking a qualified refrigeration installer with the skills and qualifications outlined below. This role involves the installation and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems, including work with condensing units, compressors, and evaporators. The installer will perform refrigeration piping, install pipe supports, hangers, and insulation, and work on walk-in coolers/freezers and ice machines. Responsibilities also include reading and interpreting drawings, using copper piping, conducting change-outs and retrofits, installing large refrigeration panels with carpentry work, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating effectively with team members. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

Installation and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems.
Work with condensing units, compressors, and evaporators.
Perform refrigeration piping (including suction, liquid, and discharge) utilizing brazing, soldering, and pressure testing techniques.
Install pipe supports, hangers, and insulation.
Install and maintain walk-in coolers/freezers and ice machines.
Read and interpret refrigeration drawings and blueprints.
Use copper piping and various refrigeration installation methods.
Conduct change-outs, retrofits, and mechanical upgrades.
Install large refrigeration panels, including carpentry work.
Ensure safety compliance with OSHA procedures.
Coordinate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently.
Manage time well and develop problem-solving strategies.
