About The Position

QuickHire is a fast-growing staffing firm specializing in light industrial and manufacturing placements. We focus on reliability, speed, and removing employment barriers through hands-on workforce management and transportation-enabled staffing solutions. We’re looking for a Commercial Recruiter who isn’t afraid to get out from behind a desk. This is a hybrid role combining on-site workforce management with in-office recruiting execution. You’ll start your day making sure people actually show up to work… then spend the rest of your day filling the pipeline so tomorrow doesn’t fall apart.

Requirements

  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, or customer service preferred
  • Familiarity with an ATS system (Workable experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation (this is non-negotiable—you’re client-facing daily)
  • Comfortable holding people accountable (this is not a “soft” role)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience in staffing, recruiting, or customer-facing roles
  • Experience using an ATS (such as Workable or similar) preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (daily client site travel required)
  • Attendance enforcement mindset – you’re comfortable addressing no-shows and holding people accountable
  • Urgency & speed – can move candidates from application to placement quickly
  • Communication skills – able to deal with candidates and client supervisors without friction
  • Problem-solving – when 3 people don’t show up, you don’t panic—you pivot
  • Organization – can manage multiple job orders and candidate pipelines at once
  • Ability to conduct phone screens and basic interviews
  • Ability to manage candidate pipelines and follow-ups
  • Ability to coordinate onboarding and job placements
  • Ability to track attendance and escalate issues in real time
  • Comfortable working in both: Field environment (client sites) and Office setting (recruiting + admin work)

Nice To Haves

  • Staffing agency experience (light industrial = gold)
  • Experience dealing with high-volume hiring
  • Background in manufacturing or warehouse environments
  • Bilingual (Spanish is a strong plus in this market)

Responsibilities

  • Report to assigned client site daily
  • Ensure all employees arrive on time and are properly clocked in
  • Address attendance issues in real time (text/call no-shows)
  • Support employees with questions or concerns
  • Communicate directly with client supervisors and management
  • Maintain a professional, accountable presence representing QuickHire
  • Recruit candidates for open job orders (primarily light industrial roles)
  • Manage candidate pipeline using ATS (Workable or similar)
  • Conduct phone screens and schedule interviews
  • Coordinate onboarding and job placements
  • Partner with internal team to meet daily and weekly fill goals
  • Maintain strong communication with candidates and clients
