About The Position

A leading commercial real estate firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to assist attorneys throughout commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and leasing. The role involves conducting due diligence, drafting and reviewing documents, managing transactions from inception through closing, and maintaining organized files. The paralegal will work in a remote team environment and must be proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines. Requirements

At least 3 years of paralegal experience focused on commercial real estate transactions.
Strong understanding of commercial leases, purchase agreements, and related documents.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
Willingness and ability to be flexible with work hours when necessary.

Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough due diligence for commercial real estate transactions.
Draft, review, and edit transactional documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and amendments.
Coordinate and manage closing processes.
Organize and maintain electronic files with confidentiality and accuracy.
Assist with title reviews and resolve title issues.
Monitor critical dates and provide reminders to the legal team.
Assist attorneys with commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, and leasing throughout the transaction lifecycle.
