About The Position
Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its dynamic team in the Atlanta office, supporting the firm’s debt servicing and restructuring practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions that help shape communities across the country while providing essential support to attorneys in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing transaction workflows, supporting leasing matters, and contributing to high-quality client service across all phases of commercial real estate transactions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, including title and survey review
- Experience drafting and reviewing commercial leases, purchase agreements, and closing documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and meet strict deadlines
- Strong commercial real estate experience, including title and survey review
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced legal environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and client service skills
- Proactive approach
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
- Support a broad range of commercial real estate transactions with a focus on title and survey review, transaction management, and leasing matters.
- Review and abstract purchase agreements and ground leases.
- Prepare critical dates memoranda and closing checklists.
- Analyze title commitments, underlying documents, and surveys to identify and resolve issues.
- Draft title objection letters and summaries.
- Coordinate closings.
- Manage post-closing deliverables.
- Monitor title policy issuance.
- Assist with commercial leasing matters, including drafting, reviewing, and managing leases, amendments, and related documents.
- Coordinate with clients, title companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
