Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Internship
About The Position
This 10-week internship program offers learning experiences in the areas of commercial real estate brokerage, commercial and residential property management, and investment/development. At the conclusion of the internship, the intern should be able to demonstrate the ability to gather market data, research properties and businesses, market to tenants and landlords, and synthesize all commercial real estate disciplines. The internship involves an in-person orientation in Glen Allen, VA, followed by project assignments in a specific market location in Virginia (Richmond, Virginia Beach, or Roanoke) under the guidance of a market brokerage leader. The program concludes with capstone presentations, resume review, and exit interviews back in Glen Allen.
Requirements
- Rising seniors majoring in business, communications, or real estate
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Experience or education demonstrating interest and commitment to a career in the commercial real estate industry
- Demonstrate dependability, self-sufficiency and motivation in past work or extracurricular activities
