Commercial Property Management Internship
About The Position
This 10-week internship program offers learning experiences in the areas of commercial property management, real estate brokerage, multi-family property management, and investment/development. At the conclusion of the internship, the intern should be able to demonstrate the ability to gather market data, research properties and businesses, market to tenants and landlords, and synthesize all commercial real estate disciplines. The internship involves an in-person orientation in Glen Allen, VA, followed by project assignments in a specific Virginia market location, and concludes with capstone presentations and exit interviews.
Requirements
- Rising seniors majoring in business, communications, or real estate
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Experience or education demonstrating interest and commitment to a career in the commercial real estate industry
- Demonstrate dependability, self-sufficiency and motivation in past work or extracurricular activities
