The position We are seeking a driven, commercially minded leader to join our team as a Commercial Pricing Analyst. We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is motivated to win, and can play a key role in driving commercial success. Working within the Finance team and alongside Business Development, this role offers exposure across all areas of the business. While the initial focus will be on supporting our Offshore and Remote sector, it may expand to cover all sectors within the organisation over time.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, economics, Accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and Financial modelling techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Presentation skills both client facing settings and internal discussions to effectively convey complex information and insights.
  • Strong analytical skills including numerical agility combined with proven problem- solving abilities.
  • Commercial Acumen with the ability to apply a commercial lens to financial models, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Development of project specific financial models that are accurate, auditable and take into consideration applicable benchmarks that are tested (Sensitivity Analysis).
  • May include facilitating key components of the review and approval process under supervision. Ensuring compliance to key financial controls and commercial principles set out by the leadership team and ongoing optimisation of review and approval process on commercial aspects of new business opportunities.
  • Along with the rest of the team, maintain and update a database of quantitative metric’s, cost inputs and benchmark information to be utilised for bids, new business opportunities and client budgetary quotes.
  • Support and influence tender strategy with strong commercial analysis and, where appropriate, strategic recommendations.
  • Establish and Maintain strong working relationships with the Operations Team and shared services.
  • Post submission tender support and analytical support from contract negotiation.
  • Ensuring effective commercial handover of financial model for opportunities that are won, with subsequent commercial partnering to ensure operation with bid model and documentation and learning of key outcomes.
