Requirements
- Several years of experience in commercial plumbing
- Strong leadership and crew management abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems and building codes
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman plumbing license
- Previous experience as a foreman or supervisor in commercial construction
- Experience managing large-scale or multi-phase construction projects
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction job sites
- Coordinate plumbing installations based on blueprints, engineered plans, and specifications
- Communicate with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and inspectors
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company expectations
- Plan daily jobsite activities and assign tasks to crew members
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project workflow and scheduling
- Train, mentor, and support apprentices and junior plumbers
- Track materials, tools, equipment, and jobsite resources
- Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project timelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite environment
