About The Position

Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Plumbing Foreman for the Delaware Market. J. F. Sobieski Mechanical Contractors is a $100 million mechanical contracting company that provides premier construction services to Delaware, South Eastern PA, Cecil County, Virginia and Maryland markets. We partner with national and local builders for HVAC, sheet metal, and plumbing Installation for residential and commercial new construction. Requirements

5 years of experience with plumbing new construction
2 plus years of leadership experience
Applicable state code knowledge
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to pass a drug screening
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Provide oversight and direction for the field personnel.
Ensure that materials are at the job site prior to scheduling the labor needed to complete the work.
Evaluate the quality of work at each phase of construction.
Assist with complex project installation challenges.
Report to and make recommendations to the project manager based on observations.
Confirm that proper procedures are being followed by all staff.
Direct the subcontractors and field personnel.
Provide informal job site training and guidance in plumbing methods.
