About The Position
S&S Mechanical in St. George, UT is hiring a Commercial Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing plumbing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who want to start a long-term career in the commercial plumbing and construction trades. As a plumbing apprentice, you will work alongside experienced plumbers and foremen on commercial construction projects, gaining hands-on training in plumbing installation, piping systems, and jobsite safety. No advanced experience is required—just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
- Interest in starting a career in commercial plumbing or construction trades
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

- Willingness to work in active construction environments
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
Nice To Haves
- Prior construction, plumbing, or trade experience
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Enrollment in or interest in a plumbing apprenticeship program
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers and foremen on commercial plumbing projects
- Learn to install plumbing systems using blueprints and construction plans
- Carry, organize, and stage materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with cutting, measuring, assembling, and installing piping systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Support project timelines by assisting the plumbing team
- Develop plumbing skills through hands-on training and mentorship
