About The Position

An Apprentice Plumber I is responsible for assembling pipes, cleaning the water supply, handling tools, and cleaning job sites. The Apprentice Plumber can expect to assist in complex jobs and handle smaller jobs on their own. This position requires travel as needed.

Requirements

Willingness to excel and learn commercial plumbing
Ability to listen to instructions and follow through with requests
Familiar with plumbing tools and equipment
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and organized
OSHA 10 Certification required

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
No experience necessary but preferred

Responsibilities

Assemble pipes
Clean the water supply
Handle tools
Clean job sites
Assist in complex jobs
Handle smaller jobs on their own
Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to complete the job successfully
Learn industry-relevant building codes and regulations for the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems
Measure, cut, and bend pipe material
Be on the jobsite at the required time
Attend all safety meetings
Follow the instructions given by on-site leadership
Clean the job site after the work is completed
