Pest Control Technician - Commercial

About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is hiring a full-time Commercial Pest Control Technician to provide commercial customers with service using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. The technician inspects commercial properties, identifies pests and conditions that may contribute to infestations, and develops and explains tailored treatment and prevention solutions. Accounts may include offices, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing facilities, and mixed-use properties. Some accounts can only be serviced outside normal working hours, so work hours may vary and schedules must be flexible. The role includes maintaining equipment and the company vehicle in proper operating condition.

Requirements

Pass and maintain any licensing or certification exams required by state regulatory agencies.
Pass internal technical exams.
Possess a current driver's license.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Maintain a professional appearance, including wearing an approved Arrow uniform.
Be able to work a minimum 40-hour work week.
Be willing to work a flexible schedule based on customer service requirements.

Responsibilities

Inspect properties to assess pest problems and identify insects, rodents, pest harborage areas, and conducive conditions.
Treat for and prevent pests using expertise and problem-solving skills.
Inspect and maintain bait boxes, traps, and monitor boards.
Explain personalized service solutions to customers and provide a professional, helpful customer experience.
Keep equipment and the company vehicle in proper operating condition.
