About The Position

QuestMark Construction Services is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to join our growing Construction Services team based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This position will focus on estimating and securing commercial and industrial painting projects throughout Texas and surrounding regions. If you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial painting estimating experience preferred
Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial painting systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience estimating projects ranging from $50,000 to $10+ million
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial painting projects
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
Work directly with General Contractors, owners, architects, and project teams
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
Assist with value engineering and scope reviews
Coordinate with project management during project turnover
Maintain bid schedules and proposal deadlines
Support business development and cultivate relationships with customers and industry partners
