Commercial Painting Crew Lead - Vail, CO Mountain Pro Vail, CO $30-$40/hour | Full-Time | Year-Round Work Lead Quality Painting Projects in Colorado's Resort Communities Mountain Pro is hiring a Commercial Painting Crew Lead to manage painting crews on commercial, resort-area, and high-end residential projects throughout the Vail, CO area. This hands-on role is a strong fit for an experienced painter who knows how to lead people, organize daily jobsite activity, maintain quality standards, and keep work moving safely and efficiently. You will work closely with production leadership while helping deliver clean, professional finishes across Colorado's mountain communities. Requirements

• 2-3+ years of professional commercial painting experience preferred
• Experience with interior, exterior, prep, and finish painting preferred
• 2+ years of crew leadership, foreman, or field supervision experience preferred
• Strong communication and team management skills
• Ability to plan work, solve problems, and keep projects moving
• High standards for prep, detail, cleanliness, and final results
• Professional attitude with clients, coworkers, managers, and contractors
• English fluency required
• Valid driver's license
• Local to the Vail area or willing to relocate for the right opportunity

• Spanish language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and support painting crews on commercial and high-end residential jobsites
• Set daily priorities and help keep the crew safe, focused, and productive
• Assign tasks based on project needs, crew strengths, and schedule expectations
• Oversee surface preparation, interior painting, exterior painting, detail work, and final touch-ups
• Maintain strong standards for cleanliness, organization, workmanship, and finished appearance
• Track job progress and communicate updates to Production Managers
• Coordinate materials, supplies, timelines, and immediate jobsite needs
• Adjust daily work plans as needed to help meet project deadlines
• Troubleshoot field issues and make practical decisions on site
• Promote a respectful, hardworking, drama-free crew environment
• Represent Mountain Pro professionally with clients, contractors, and property managers
