About The Position

This role exists to help bring structure, operational rigor, and cross-functional alignment to how the commercial organization plans and executes. By improving readiness, visibility, and coordination across teams and external partners, this role directly supports smoother launches, stronger inventory alignment, better operational decision-making, and more consistent execution across the business. This role also plays an important part in helping the business operate with greater visibility, accountability, and execution discipline across commercial activities. We are looking for a Commercial Operations & Planning Lead to support operational coordination and commercial readiness across the business. This role is responsible for helping align inventory planning, launch readiness, fulfillment operations, and cross-functional execution across commercial teams — including coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and operational stakeholders. The role also plays an important part in improving operational visibility, tracking key initiatives, supporting business planning rhythms, and helping teams execute against commercial priorities. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, coordinating moving parts, solving operational problems, and driving follow-through across teams.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial operations, business operations, supply chain coordination, fulfillment operations, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple moving priorities.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Commercial teams.
  • Experience supporting launch readiness, inventory planning, fulfillment operations, or operational coordination activities.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, fulfillment operations, or comparable operational partner networks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems, inventory tools, retailer portals, or operational reporting platforms.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving and evolving business environments.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Support operational readiness across launches, promotions, and channel activities.
  • Coordinate launch readiness activities across commercial, supply chain, operations, and fulfillment teams.
  • Track key launch dependencies, timelines, and operational risks.
  • Ensure inventory and logistics readiness ahead of launches and promotions.
  • Drive alignment across teams to support successful commercial execution.
  • Help identify and escalate operational gaps or launch risks before go-live.
  • Support visibility and coordination across inventory and channel planning activities.
  • Track inventory visibility and allocation across key revenue channels.
  • Monitor retailer inventory levels and identify stock risks or replenishment needs.
  • Coordinate demand planning inputs with supply chain and purchasing teams.
  • Support planning discussions related to inventory availability, channel readiness, and operational risks.
  • Help improve visibility into inventory health and fulfillment readiness across the business.
  • Help ensure effective coordination across fulfillment and logistics operations.
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to support inventory flow, order fulfillment, and operational readiness across channels.
  • Coordinate inbound logistics and customs clearance activities for finished goods entering the US and Canada.
  • Support postponement and kitting activities in coordination with 3PL and operational partners.
  • Support refurbishment and reverse logistics activities in coordination with contract manufacturers and fulfillment partners.
  • Coordinate customer return flows and support operational processes related to warranty tracking and failure analysis with Customer Support and Engineering teams.
  • Monitor fulfillment-related issues and help drive resolution across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support alignment between commercial priorities and fulfillment execution.
  • Help improve communication, tracking, and operational coordination with fulfillment partners.
  • Help improve cross-functional operational alignment across the business.
  • Coordinate issue resolution between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and fulfillment teams.
  • Help ensure operational follow-through on key commercial initiatives.
  • Maintain execution trackers and operational readiness reporting across major initiatives.
  • Support operational decision-making through visibility into readiness, inventory, fulfillment, and execution risks.
  • Identify bottlenecks, process gaps, or coordination issues and escalate where appropriate.
  • Support operational visibility and reporting across the commercial organization.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting related to launches, inventory, fulfillment, and operational readiness.
  • Provide visibility into key operational risks, dependencies, and execution status.
  • Support preparation for business reviews, launch reviews, and operational planning discussions.
  • Help improve reporting consistency and operational visibility across functions.
  • Continuously improve how the business coordinates and executes operational activities.
  • Help standardize planning and coordination processes across teams.
  • Improve tracking, communication, and operational follow-through.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce execution friction.
  • Support development of scalable operational processes as the business grows.
  • Contribute to establishing stronger operating cadence and execution discipline across the organization.
