About The Position

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Technical Operations Coordinator to support our engineering and testing teams. This role is the "connective tissue" of our department: you will manage the physical parts and assets needed for testing while simultaneously building the digital schedules and systems that keep our projects on track. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate who enjoys a mix of hands-on physical organization and strategic project tracking.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience.
  • Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Enjoy creating order out of chaos and saying “there must be a better way to do that”.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly.
  • "Team-first" attitude.
  • Can nudge a senior engineer for data or a vendor for a tracking number with professional persistence.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that may involve being on your feet or lifting/moving parts (up to 25 lbs) as needed.
  • Culture is really important in the broader team! Must pass the work trip "test". i.e. Would the team be happy to do a work trip with this person?
  • Proactive (We are often the "gets it done" team, sometimes forgiveness before permission).
  • Take work seriously, but not ourselves.
  • Proactive. Will thrive if they can start going forward on their own.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive specific background.
  • Mechanical familiarity with automotive (i.e. worked on cars in some way for job or not) will make the learning curve less steep.
  • Solid experience with agentic AI.
  • Confidence that they can ramp quickly with agentic AI.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling test windows across different teams.
  • Align timelines between engineering, and external partners to ensure resources (vehicles, tools, and people) are ready when needed.
  • Relentlessly follow up with teams to collect data post-testing, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Order, receive, and organize incoming parts.
  • Maintain a clean, logical physical inventory system so the team can find what they need in seconds.
  • Prepare assets for testing or transport.
  • Identify "organizational black holes" where communication is failing and create new workflows (e.g., new Excel trackers, Jira boards, or physical labeling systems).
  • Maintain dashboards and status reports to give management a clear view of project health.
