About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and process-driven Commercial Operations Analyst to own the day-to-day administration, reporting, and continuous improvement of three critical operational areas: Incentive Compensation, Expense Management, and Fleet Operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that these processes operate reliably and efficiently from end to end. The successful candidate will not simply execute established tasks; they will take ownership of the process, identify opportunities for improvement, develop and document solutions, and drive those solutions through implementation. The role also serves as an analytical resource, using the data generated through these processes to identify trends, exceptions, risks, and opportunities and translate them into actionable information for management and cross-functional stakeholders. The strongest candidates will bring sound judgment, strong Excel and analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to learn complex processes, manage details, and improve how work gets done. Direct experience in incentive compensation, expense management, or fleet operations is helpful, but process ownership, accuracy, and follow-through are most important.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Operations, Analytics, or a related field.
3–4+ years of relevant professional experience in commercial operations, business operations, finance operations, sales operations, compensation administration, expense management, fleet administration, or a related analytical/administrative function.
Demonstrated ability to independently own recurring business processes from start to finish.
Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage recurring deadlines with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and with external partners.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee, compensation, expense, and financial information.
Ownership mindset with a willingness to improve processes rather than simply maintain them.

Nice To Haves

Experience with sales incentive compensation, commissions, expense management, Concur, fleet administration, or related business operations processes.
Experience with reporting, process improvement, workflow tools, or business systems such as ERP, CRM, payroll, compensation, expense, or fleet platforms.
Experience managing external vendors or working in a regulated, financial, healthcare, life sciences, or other complex corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Own recurring sales incentive compensation activities, including data preparation, validation, calculations, reporting, and issue resolution.
Maintain incentive compensation plan inputs such as eligibility, quotas, rates, thresholds, and related data.
Coordinate the recurring compensation cycle to ensure deadlines, approvals, calculations, and communications are completed accurately and on time.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to research and resolve compensation-related questions and discrepancies.
Prepare management reporting and summarize attainment, trends, variances, exceptions, and areas requiring attention.
Administer the company's Concur expense environment and related expense management processes.
Maintain system settings, workflows, policies, user access, and other administrative parameters as needed.
Monitor expense activity for policy compliance and support employee expense inquiries, issues, and escalations.
Partner with stakeholders on expense reporting, corporate card activity, employee reimbursements, and related processes.
Prepare recurring expense reporting and analysis, including spending trends, policy exceptions, compliance issues, and cost drivers.
Administer the company's fleet program, including vehicle assignments, replacements, registrations, mileage, maintenance, and related activities.
Coordinate with employees, managers, fleet providers, dealerships, leasing companies, and other vendors to resolve fleet-related issues.
Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance, costs, delivery schedules, and other fleet metrics.
Support vehicle transfers, returns, title and registration activities, accident claims, and other fleet lifecycle activities.
Review vehicle-related charges and prepare recurring fleet reporting on utilization, cost trends, vehicle activity, and relevant KPIs.
Serve as the operational owner and subject matter expert for assigned processes, ensuring activities are accurate, timely, consistent, and well controlled.
Maintain practical process documentation, calendars, controls, and checklists to support repeatable execution.
Take improvement initiatives from concept through implementation, including defining requirements, coordinating stakeholders, testing solutions, implementing changes, and monitoring results.
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including issue resolution, service monitoring, and follow-up.
Support the implementation and adoption of new systems, tools, policies, and processes.
Prepare recurring reports and summaries across Incentive Compensation, Expense Management, and Fleet.
Review and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Analyze trends, variances, exceptions, and other key information to identify issues and opportunities.
Translate data into clear, actionable information for management and cross-functional stakeholders.
Support ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
