About The Position
The Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist I services the Bank's loan portfolio and follows established lending policies and procedures. This role involves loan input and routine loan maintenance. The Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist I is a multi-functional, customer-oriented role that relies on instructions and pre-established procedures to perform the functions of this job.
Requirements
- Associate�s Degree and minimum 2 years retail banking, loan servicing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Input data entry of new loans bookings, loan disbursing, loan file maintenance, and servicing of all loan types on the Bank's core system, with a concentration on commercial loans.
- Review data input for accuracy and completeness.
- Process daily functions of all loan records including loan payments, construction draws, advances, participation payments, and payoff requests.
- Answer incoming customer calls and provide assistance for any customer questions about documents or loan data.
- Monitor Loan Input email account and follow up in a timely manner.
- Process daily mail pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Loan Operations and Commercial Loan Support department supervisor/manager.
