About The Position
FM Bank is seeking a motivated and organized Commercial Loan Processor to support our Commercial Lending team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with clients, and values accuracy throughout the loan lifecycle. As a Commercial Loan Processor, you will play a key role in supporting loan officers and ensuring a smooth, efficient lending process from application through post-closing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience or working knowledge of commercial loans preferred
- Familiarity with LaserPro software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Coordinate loan closings by partnering with third parties such as title companies, attorneys, insurance providers, and appraisers
- Serve as a direct point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in person
- Review loan applications, disclosures, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare loan documents and related materials
- Research client accounts and respond to internal and external inquiries
- Process loan notices and correspondence
- Prepare Letters of Credit, including coordination with third parties
- Verify paid loans and process collateral releases
- Prepare and fund advances on lines of credit
- Provide ongoing customer service support to commercial clients
- Perform additional duties as assigned
