About The Position
As a performance-driven Commercial Loan Officer (Lender) in Joplin, you will deliver high-impact loan solutions that grow relationships and manage risk. The role is responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting, pricing, documenting, and servicing commercial and consumer credit while expanding the bank’s portfolio through disciplined sales activity.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of sales experience; preferably 2 years of banking experience as well.
- Strong credit and industry risk analysis, negotiation, and documentation discipline.
- Clear written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work onsite.
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:30, with a Saturday rotation from 8:30–12:00.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business by calling on prospects and existing customers.
- Build referral networks.
- Cross-sell applicable bank products and services.
- Review portfolio performance to improve profitability.
- Partner with collections on past-due credits.
- Ensure lending activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Originate, structure, underwrite, price, document, and service commercial and consumer credit.
