About The Position

The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for the fulfillment of commercial loan documents. This position will have knowledge of regulatory requirements and perform the due diligence needed to ensure complete and accurate documentation. This position will maintain a client focus and will partner with Lending Specialists, Loan Servicing, and other credit team members to deliver a superior client experience.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience in the financial industry.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks through effective time management and organizational skills.
  • High level of commitment to accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Ability to manage high volume, time sensitive transactions and situations.
  • Self-motivated, with ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare loan documents, within LaserPro, according to loan approval for new and existing requests.
  • Ensure documents are prepared accurately and within service level agreements.
  • Review loan file and Commercial Lending Delivery (CLD) applications for due diligence items.
  • Research requests regarding documentation and handle time sensitive issues, if needed escalate to supervisor.
  • Manage specialized processes including, but not limited to HMDA Compliance reporting.
  • Provide primary and backup coverage on processes, as needed.
  • Actively pursue continuing education, reading, and self-development to enhance skills.
  • Complete regulation, compliance and additional training as assigned.
  • Maintain client focus and partner internally with other teams to deliver superior client experience.
