About The Position

Assist the commercial lenders by analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience as a Credit Analyst
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance or other related experience
• Proven written communication and financial analysis skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Understanding of banking regulations and best practices
• Detail oriented with good communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review financial information on applicants and perform detailed analysis of financial data and other relevant information.
• Generate financial ratios to evaluate a borrower’s financial status to determine the borrower’s cash flow and capacity to service debt, summarizing borrower’s financial statements.
• Detail identifiable risks associated with the credit quality of loans and collateral.
• Interpret financial data and make loan recommendations to lenders and loan committee.
• Confer with loan officer on any borrower’s identified financial deterioration.
• Monitor maturing loans and gather necessary information needed to consider extensions or modifications.
