About The Position

Career Staffing Talent has partnered with a Miami litigation boutique focused exclusively on sophisticated business litigation. The firm is open to hiring at the Mid-Level Associate, Senior Associate, Senior Counsel, or Of Counsel level, depending on experience and qualifications. This role involves handling complex commercial matters from pleadings through trial preparation, including business disputes, contract litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, fiduciary duty claims, real estate litigation, and banking and financial services litigation. Attorneys are expected to manage an active caseload independently, take and defend depositions, and argue substantive motions in court, often litigating against large regional and national firms.

Requirements

5+ years handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters
Experience across all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation
Significant deposition experience
Courtroom experience arguing substantive motions
Excellent legal writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
Strong academic and professional credentials
A polished, professional, client-facing presence
Strong analytical, strategic, and advocacy skills
Backgrounds primarily in insurance defense are generally not a strong fit
