Commercial Litigation Associate
About The Position
Nelson Mullins is hiring a Commercial Litigation Associate for its litigation group in the Columbia office. The role offers the opportunity to build a practice at an AmLaw 100 firm with a national platform and a sophisticated commercial litigation practice serving leading companies throughout the United States. The associate will handle commercial litigation matters, including drafting and arguing discovery motions and taking and defending depositions. The position is based in the Columbia, South Carolina office. Candidates must submit a cover letter, resume, and copy of their law school transcript.
Requirements
- Three to six years of meaningful commercial litigation experience, including courtroom experience, in a mid-size or large law firm setting.
- Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Ability in case management and readiness to take the lead.
- Admission to and good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
- Submit a cover letter, resume, and copy of law school transcript.

- Experience with franchise litigation.
