Commercial Litigation Associate
About The Position
Nelson Mullins is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation group in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to join an active practice where you will be supporting a sophisticated and large body of litigation work. As an AmLaw100 firm, we are excited to bring on an experienced lateral associate who knows how to bring our client's objectives and goals to fruition. You will be joining a highly skilled team of attorneys who have substantial courtroom experience at the state and federal levels. The Greenville Litigation Team represents clients in trying complex, high-value cases to verdict across a variety of practice areas including professional malpractice, commercial litigation, product liability, and patent infringement.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience gained at a law firm
- Admitted, and in good standing, to the South Carolina Bar
- Meaningful experience in general commercial litigation, product liability, and other complex litigation matters
- Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Adept in case management
Responsibilities
- Draft and argue discovery and other motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Manage document productions
- Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to a growing office
- Support a sophisticated and large body of litigation work
- Bring client's objectives and goals to fruition
- Represent clients in trying complex, high-value cases to verdict
