About The Position

We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented, and service-focused Commercial Lines Insurance Agents to join our growing Small Business team. This fast-paced, high-volume role supports small business clients with policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, coverage reviews, and carrier interactions. Successful candidates thrive in a transactional environment, enjoy managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and are committed to delivering exceptional client service with accuracy and urgency. This is an in-office position.

Requirements

Maine Property & Casualty License required or ability to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe.
Prior Commercial Lines insurance experience preferred, particularly servicing small business accounts.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, endorsements, and policy servicing practices.
Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency when responding to client needs.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency with agency management systems, carrier platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Nice To Haves

Prior Commercial Lines insurance experience preferred, particularly servicing small business accounts.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, professional service to a large volume of commercial insurance clients.
Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy servicing needs.
Review client accounts and identify coverage gaps, exposures, and opportunities for additional protection.
Work closely with insurance carriers to obtain information, resolve issues, and facilitate policy transactions.
Maintain accurate and organized client records within the agency management system.
Prioritize and manage multiple requests, deadlines, and service activities while maintaining high quality standards.
Support account retention efforts through proactive communication and relationship management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure service standards and client expectations are consistently met.
Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations in a fast-paced servicing environment.
