About The Position

NJM is seeking a Commercial Lines Quality Assurance Analyst to join their Commercial Lines Business Process Operations team. This team is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement within the organization, turning strategy into execution and delivering valuable business solutions. The Commercial Lines department operates within the Mid-Atlantic region, offering products such as Commercial Auto, G/L, Workers Comp, BOP, Excess/Umbrella, and Package. The CL Quality Assurance Analyst will report to the Commercial Lines Compliance Administrator and will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of Commercial Lines operational activities and transactions through established quality assessment methodologies.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Policy Center, Billing Center Guidewire products, as well as OnBase document repository.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of Commercial Property and Casualty product underwriting experience preferred.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update Quality Assurance Manuals for each Commercial Lines Product.
  • Collaborate with CL members to discuss established processes by line of business.
  • Develop and execute audit programs to verify adherence to defined quality requirements.
  • Identify and document quality exceptions in an established structured reporting format.
  • Prepare quality assessment final dashboard reports and distribute to CL leaders.
  • Assist CL Compliance Administrator with presenting identified quality exceptions to CL leaders.
  • Participate in discussions with CL leaders regarding exception remediation plans.
  • Coordinate efforts with the CL Compliance Specialist to ensure proper testing coverage of all operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate the CL department effort to ensure application access is appropriate to key applications that are used to support CL operations.
  • Execute rate change audit programs for all products and all states to ensure compliance to the established rate change implementation process.
  • Develop and execute targeted quality reviews assigned by the CL Compliance Administrator.
