Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Producer or in a similar role, preferably focused on commercial insurance.
• Active state insurance license (or the ability to obtain one within a specified period).
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, worker’s compensation, and more.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales objectives in a competitive market.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in insurance sales software, CRM tools, and other relevant platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with commercial clients by understanding their insurance needs and providing customized solutions.
• Identify potential prospects and develop a strategic approach to generate new business.
• Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with prospects to close sales.
• Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to design comprehensive insurance packages for businesses of varying sizes and industries.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of commercial insurance products, trends, pricing, and competitors.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and business development goals.
• Provide ongoing support to existing clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, timely policy renewals, and effective problem resolution.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and product changes to ensure clients are advised on the best course of action.
