About The Position

Seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Claims Manager to lead a specialized support team within a growing Property & Casualty agency. This role is ideal for a claims professional who thrives on problem-solving, guiding clients through complex situations, and collaborating with carriers to achieve successful claim outcomes. As a key leader, you will oversee a small team, serve as a trusted resource for intricate claims advocacy, and contribute to the agency's operational excellence.

Requirements

Extensive experience in Commercial Lines claims, either within an agency or on the carrier side.
Proven expertise in handling or supporting large commercial accounts and complex claims scenarios.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and claims processes.
Prior leadership experience or a demonstrated interest in stepping into a leadership role.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Nice To Haves

Industry experience in contractor, manufacturing, transportation, auto dealership, or similar sectors is highly valued.
Familiarity with Applied Epic or other agency management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team comprising a Client Resource Coordinator and a Risk Management/OSHA Support Specialist.
Act as the agency's primary internal expert on complex commercial claims matters.
Advocate on behalf of clients and collaborate with carriers to resolve challenging claims issues.
Provide guidance on large-loss, high-severity, and sensitive claims situations.
Coordinate communication among clients, carriers, producers, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee claims-related workflows, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of issues.
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction throughout the claims process.
Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to the department's operational efficiency.
