Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
  • 5 - 10 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance products and regulations.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of work while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Professional integrity, positive attitude, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly via phone, video, and in-person.

Nice To Haves

  • AMS360 experience strongly preferred.
  • Construction experience strongly desired.
  • Additional education or training preferred.
  • Insurance designations and ability to generate additional revenue are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance business.
  • Coordinate the renewal process, including tracking policy expirations, gathering underwriting information, and ensuring timely submission to carriers.
  • Prepare accurate and complete insurance submissions, including supplemental forms, and loss runs.
  • Market renewal and new business accounts to carriers, evaluate coverage options, and assist in negotiating terms and pricing.
  • Bind coverage and ensure compliance with carrier requirements, surplus lines regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Review issued policies for accuracy and completeness; identify discrepancies and facilitate corrections as needed.
  • Serve as a trusted client resource by responding promptly to inquiries, explaining coverage, and advocating on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain organized and accurate account documentation within agency management systems.
  • Collaborate with Producers and Client Advisors to support client retention, cross-selling, and account growth.
  • Stay current on insurance products, carrier guidelines, and industry trends.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
