About The Position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager manages an assigned book of business and is responsible for retaining clients through customer service and maintaining accurate client information in company systems. The role works collaboratively with Producers, Senior Account Managers, and Associate Account Managers, and may mentor Associate Account Managers and Team Assistants. The book of business is generally in excess of $550,000 in revenue, depending on the complexity or number of accounts. The position supports HUB International’s commercial insurance clients and performs administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a Commercial Lines role on the agency side.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Property and Casualty (P&C) license.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, generally in excess of $550,000 in revenue depending on account complexity or volume.
• Provide quality customer service to existing accounts, with a retention goal of 93% or higher.
• Collaborate with Producers, Senior Account Managers, and Associate Account Managers.
• Mentor, support, and train Associate Account Managers and Team Assistants as necessary.
• Maintain accurate client information in EPIC.
• Complete administrative tasks.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
