About The Position

Supports the Account Executives in the day-to-day servicing of Energy & Marine related accounts.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six (6) or more years related work experience
  • Valid Insurance License
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
  • Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with oil and gas insurance a plus

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits proven competence in all Assistant Account Manager duties and knowledge requirements.
  • Compiles renewal requests to the clients and completes marketing submissions as directed by the Account Executive.
  • Generates insurance proposals, summaries of insurance and policy schedules as needed.
  • Manages the renewal of non-oil and gas lines of coverage, crime bonds and miscellaneous coverages that do not renew with the majority of the account.
  • Discusses and resolves coverage issues for clients under the direction of the Account Executive.
  • Reviews quotes for accuracy, requests, reviews and processes binders.
  • Reviews carrier invoices for accuracy and processes any requests for financing.
  • Requests, calculates and processes Well Reports.
  • Sets up master certificate of insurance within Epic.
  • Processes and provides premium allocations.
  • Reviews and resolves any Accounts Receivables issues on a weekly basis with input from the Account Executive and/or Producer.
  • Works with clients and carriers on processing final audits.
  • Oversees and delegates work to the Assistant Account Manager and Account Representatives.
  • Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date.
  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
  • Other duties as assigned.
