About The Position
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join a team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in the insurance industry, specifically within independent agencies, who is ready to manage a robust book of business and contribute to an agency's success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with multiple standard carriers and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an independent insurance agency.
- Candidates must have worked with multiple standard lines carriers within the last 12 months.
- Ability to work 100% in-office.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in using agency management systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Quoting commercial lines directly with standard carriers and working with MGAs.
- Setting up and generating Certificates of Insurance and commercial auto ID cards.
- Managing multiple producers and handling some accounts from start to finish during renewal periods.
- Marketing and quoting for both new and renewal business.
- Cross-selling coverages to existing clients.
- Processing endorsements online with carriers.
- Invoicing through the agency management system.
- Managing a desk premium size of $4,000,000+.
