About The Position

Stones River Electric is seeking a Commercial Lighting Electrician to support its national operations. The role involves troubleshooting and performing service, repair, and maintenance work on commercial lighting and electrical systems in retail, office, industrial, and hospitality environments. The electrician will diagnose issues, complete repairs and retrofits, and operate and maintain a bucket truck, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently. The successful candidate is dependable, able to work independently in the field with minimal supervision, and takes ownership of their workload. Travel is required as project needs dictate, including out-of-town assignments and overnight stays. The employer provides a company vehicle, gas card, company credit card, equipment, phone reimbursement, and a storage unit for materials and equipment.

Requirements

At least 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
Experience operating and maintaining a bucket truck.
Experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed, including overnight stays.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field.
Comfort using basic technology such as an iPad.
Good communication skills.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Must pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Basic hand tools, including a meter, pliers, wire strippers, and tape measure.

Experience with equipment hauling.
