About The Position

SpartanX is seeking an experienced, licensed ESC Electrician to support Electrical Service Center (ESC) field operations in the Baltimore market. This is a field-based role focused on troubleshooting, corrective electrical work, and technical support for residential solar projects rather than standard installations. The electrician diagnoses field issues, identifies root causes, determines appropriate solutions, and performs repairs or modifications to get projects completed correctly. The role responds to ESC work orders and field support requests, performs service-related work including panel upgrades as needed, verifies that completed work meets NEC, local code, and company requirements, and accurately documents findings and repairs. The electrician coordinates with Installation, Service, Operations, and other field teams, and communicates professionally with homeowners at customer locations. Travel throughout the assigned market is required as needed. The position offers $35–$45 per hour based on experience, licensing, and qualifications, a vehicle allowance, a company gas card, consistent full-time work, career advancement opportunities, and support from dedicated Operations, Service, and ESC teams. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required.

Requirements

Current Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
Strong residential electrical experience.
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Proven electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with residential service equipment, panels, disconnects, breakers, and related electrical components.
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned market as needed.

Nice To Haves

Residential solar experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on residential solar projects.

Communicate professionally with homeowners when working at customer locations.
