About The Position

The Commercial Lending Assistant I provides essential support to commercial lenders serving commercial clients. This entry-level role operates under close supervision, focusing on accurate documentation, application input, and coordination of activities leading up to loan approval and closing.

Responsibilities

Gather required information and documentation from borrowers and third parties.
Input loan application data into internal systems.
Assist in developing loan packages and preparing transmittals.
Place orders for title, appraisals, and other required services.
Coordinate activities through the request for documents stage.
Support scheduling and coordination of loan closings and funding.
Prepare and send denial communications as directed.
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Communicate status updates to lenders and team members.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior staff.
Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training.
