About The Position

Pine Tree Food Equipment is hiring experienced technicians who can perform diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ice machines, walk-in coolers, freezers, ovens, fryers, griddles, and HVAC units. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive pay, offering a chance to work with a supportive team and tackle daily challenges. The role involves responding to emergency service calls, conducting preventative maintenance, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

EPA Certification (cold side)
Minimum 2 years of mechanical/electrical/refrigeration experience
Valid driver's license and driving record that align with safety standards
Compliance with safety procedures and regulations
Flexibility for on-call shifts and overtime when necessary
Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic
Completion of a successful background check and drug screen is required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Gas license (preferred, but not strictly listed as a requirement for all technicians)
Hands-on experience with cold and/or hot side commercial kitchen equipment

Responsibilities

Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
Troubleshoot and repair commercial cooking equipment like fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, and more
Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
Deliver outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
Maintain service vehicle and manage parts orders
Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
Work independently and as part of a team
