About The Position
TMR Services, a subsidiary of Tech24, is a full-service commercial kitchen equipment repair company dedicated to providing comprehensive foodservice equipment maintenance and repair services. We cater to restaurants, quick-service restaurants (QSRs), convenience stores, retailers, coffee shops, and concession operations, specializing in commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. With our headquarters in Greenville, SC, we operate local branches across the nation.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in standard computer applications.
- Ownership of industry-standard hand tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation (frequency varies).
- Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn new techniques and approaches.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a commercial foodservice technician is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect equipment and related components for safe operation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff regarding repair statuses, maintaining schedule adherence and addressing any delays.
- Complete service tickets in accordance with company procedures.
- Manage truck stock to ensure necessary parts are readily available.
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to meet Tech24 standards.
- Serve as a positive role model for less experienced technicians and promote company values.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety.
