The Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems safely, efficiently, and professionally. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality work, strong customer service, and solving problems in the field.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HVAC service experience
  • 2+ years of commercial refrigeration service experience
  • EPA Certification
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in outdoor conditions or confined spaces
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Residential and/or commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience
  • NATE Certification
  • ServiceTitan experience
  • Experience with maintenance agreements and upselling
  • Experience in fast-paced service environments
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems and equipment
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and production-line refrigeration equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Communicate repair recommendations and solutions clearly with customers
  • Complete service calls safely, efficiently, and accurately
  • Maintain proper documentation, invoices, and service records
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance
  • Support team productivity and overall branch success
